Portraits of Elena, Jen and Liz shot with the Olympus OM-D

Over the past couple of weeks I’ve had the fun of having an extended play with the Olympus OM-D.

Regular fans of my blog (there’s got to be at least one… hello Dad), may know that I travelled to Amsterdam earlier in the year to get my hands on a pre-production version of the camera, where I was very impressed by my initial usage of it.

Having now spent a lot more time with it, I’m happy to say that it’s managed to keep me enthralled and it’s one I would happily recommend to most people.

For anyone that’s interested, I’ve now come to the conclusion that I would like a full-frame DSLR and a compact system camera of the ilk of the OM-D or Fuji X Pro1. Now all I need to do is win the lottery and I’m sorted.

Anyway, before my ramblings of my pipe dreams threaten to ruin an otherwise pleasant blog, please find some portraits all shot with the OM-D. Most were shot either with the Olympus 45mm f/1.8 lens or Sigma 30mm f/2.8.

Give us a comment, tweet or other means of electronic communication if you enjoy (or feel otherwise) these.

    • Hi Matt,

I really liked the Sigma 30mm lens, it was a great lens for portraits. The optical performance of the 19mm is pretty much the same, so it just depends on what you use it for, the 19mm is probably better as a walk around type lens. I’ll be doing reviews on these for TechRadar over the next few days and posting lots of sample images etc. :)
